Well, I'm counting down my days at work now, 4 to go!
It is quite strange to be moving on again, so many loose ends to tie up, so many people to see. There are many things about London that I will miss, but I'm content with my decision.
My flat is breaking up this weekend too, Will is moving back to Nottingham to become an über-rich commodity trader; Eddie's buying a house with his friend Sarah & Matt is looking for a new flat when he gets back from Glastonbury. It is quite a shame to be moving on from there, I've had some good times and made good friends with the boys. The clean up is a bit of a drag though - it's amazing how much junk can accumulate in a house over a 3 year period! It's also amazing how much I have accumulated in one year, I might have to be a bit ruthless!
I'm spending my last couple of nights here staying on Tony's floor, thanks big guy!
I think all the plans are in place for the trip, it hasn't changed too much from what I laid out in the previous post (mainly because I'm too lazy to do any research). Roskilde is all go, the team of Andrew, Tim, Glen & Mel are all fired up and ready (hopefully!)
I've got a rail pass & have booked a few key reservations on night trains. Other than that the plan is to pretty much wing it. Mel & I are planning on couch surfing our way for the first half of the trip & I think I will hostel it through the Balkans. I've got 7 days planned in Greece, mostly staying with Natalie & Sarah who are staying/working in Cephalonia for to summer.
There's is lots for me to sort out when I get back (house, car...), no cause for worry though - that is months away and these things always tend to work themselves out!
Stay tuned over the next few weeks, I will be doing my utmost to keep the blog updated while I'm on the move!
